So glad to be back in the midwest doing what I love! I am playing Mrs. Corry, Miss Lark, and tap dancing as a Chimney Sweep in Circa 21 Dinner Playhouse's production of Mary Poppins. According to the local news  - "Carissa Ferguson is a hoot as the green-wigged Mrs. Corry." Come see us & I can guarantee you'll have a  supercalifragilisticexpialidocious time!

Legoland NY Resort!

I spent the weekends of April & May performing at The Legoland Resort in Goshen, NY! I was a performer in their TYA show "Playtime With Hopsy" where I sang, hosted, and played with theme park guests ages 3-12+! I love working with kids, so I had a blast meeting all of our audience members & getting to perform on this special contract. Thank you RWS Global Entertainment for this opportunity!

Show Biz Pod

Exciting news! I’ve officially launched Show Biz Pod, a weekly podcast I co-host with my friend and fellow creative, Emma Claire Dykes. Together, we talk all things creative careers, side hustles, personal finance, and how to build a sustainable life as an artist. This is a passion project that has been in the works for a while & I am excited to bring it to life in hopes to better serve the artist community. "Didn't Make The Cut" at The Green Room 42

Produced by: Anthony Cangiamila

I made my NYC cabaret debut in "Didn't Make The Cut" at The Green Room 42 on November 12th! The show was a montage of songs that were "cut" from well-known musicals before they made it to Broadway - I sang Break It Down from Mean Girls. I am so grateful for the experience to share my art in the city that feels like home. Check out a video of my performance below!

"Elizabeth Thatcher" in When Calls The Heart

Blue Gate Musicals, directed by Jennifer Wolcott
July 2024
-Jan 2025

I am thrilled to have started my theatrical career post-grad with Blue Gate Musicals in Shipshewana, Indiana! For our 5 month run, I portrayed the leading role, Elizabeth Thatcher, in the new musical based off of Janette Oke's When Calls The Heart.  This southern girl loved experiencing my first real winter in Amish Country!

c/o 2024 Graduate!

I graduated Summa Cum Laude from The University of Alabama on May 4th, 2024 with a BFA in Musical Theatre and a minor in English. Not only did I finish with a 4.0 GPA, but I also served as the President of Alpha Psi Omega National Theatre Honors Society, the Lead Ambassador for our Musical Theatre Program, and an Associate Editor for The Ripple Arts Review.  I've loved my time here at UA, but I'm excited for the next adventure!

Raphe Crystal Award

I am honored to have been awarded the Raphe Crystal Award for Musical Theatre by the head of our MT program, Stacy Alley. This award is given to a a student who demonstrates outstanding leadership, service, character, and talent within The Department of Theatre and Dance.  I would not be the person I am today without the amazing faculty and peers who pushed me to be the best version of myself!

How exciting to make my professional debut here in my hometown of Pensacola, FL. Exploring the life of Marie Antoinette was (as she would say) exquisite! Special thanks to Christine Kellogg for her mentorship throughout this production.
